Judith Silverthorne has written several children’s novels, one of which has been translated into Japanese. Plus, she is the author of two non-fiction biographical adult books.

She has written several hundred articles and columns for newspapers and magazines and has  worked as a journalist, freelance writer, editor, evaluator, researcher, curator, book reviewer, scriptwriter, television documentary producer and arts administrator.

She has also presented hundreds of readings and writing workshops at libraries, schools and other educational institutions, and at conferences.

She recently retired from her position as the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild.

Judith was a Robin from 1991-1996, then rejoined in 2014.
