The love of nature, culture, and history inspire Judith Silverthorne’s writing and shape many of her international award-winning books. She is the author of several children’s time-shift novels, an historical YA novel, two adult non-fiction books, plus an all-ages non-fiction picture book, published in English and Cree, and which has been translated into several different languages. She has presented hundreds of readings and writing workshops at libraries, schools and educational institutes, and at conferences, literary festivals and book fairs throughout Canada, USA, Europe, and New Zealand.
She is a former Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild and the 2018-19 Writer-in-Residence at the Regina Public Library.
